Looks like the last day would have more crowds since its on a weekend instead of the usual Monday.

So day 0 is the July 3rd. What time would be a good time to show up for the line? Last year I thought I was doing good by showing up at noon but apparently it wasn't early enough... Baking in the hot sunlight is almost cure and unusual punishment.

Me and my brothers showed up at 6am and there was about 200 people ahead of us. After everyone allowed people to jump in line with them I think when they opened the doors it was about 400. So no matter when you show up I think youll end up roasting.
Where were you guys? I showed up at 7am and there was no line or any amount of people over 20 anywhere that I saw around the registration area or Figueroa facing area of the LACC.

I rather be in a long moving line than waiting in a short line for hours.

For Real, then how late to get in line? I really hate standing in the hot sun and getting sunburned!
I usually arrive at around 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. after trying to get parking at the LACC.

Probably should get in line before 7pm. Last year registration was open until 9pm (?) but Opening Ceremonies was also in the late afternoon of day 0.
I would always recommend carrying sunscreen (and water) at all times at AX. ![]()

I remember that after getting my AX pass at maybe around 5:30 P.M., there would be a couple of lines and it wasn't moving;
people usually just waiting, though not as long a line as of course in the afternoon, that is why I asked. I think I would
need a hat as well - got to get one that covers the neck and ears from the sun.
7:00 P.M. is somewhat late to register unless I lived in LA within a 50 miles of LACC. I live in San Diego South Bay region.
